I feel I should offer some context here before posting this to the world… There was a lot of whiskey consumed before Tony, Tyler and I decided to make up a song about Medusa. We were camping in Missouri (or as it’s called instate Mah-zura).
One of the favorite pastimes of my brother Tyler and I is what was dubbed by our friend Jenna “Whiskey In The Woods.” It’s when we get peeps together around a campfire and have everyone make up songs and sing. We often sing about smurfs and babies and once, Napoleon.
Sometimes people are like, “I can’t sing!” or, “I’m not good at it.” We usually hand these people a stick and have them bang out a rhythm on the whiskey bottle. Sometimes even then people say stuff like, “But I am not good at it,” to which my brother replies, “Well, when you started walking were you good at that? No, I bet you fell down a lot. And look at you now, you can run.”
Anyways, from this last trip where was an awful lot of music (and whiskey) happening around the fire. Usually the songs we make up disappear since we don’t remember them afterwards. This one was recorded though (gracias iPhone). I don’t recommend listening to it sober. Click below for a listen. And if you’re really crazy you can right click to download it.
