Le Dance

Imagine it’s like this —

You’re on a dance floor, having the time of your life. You’re singing and jumping and no part of you isn’t bursting with ecstatic life. It’s a massive celebration, everyone you know is jiving somewhere on that floor.

But some people don’t know it’s a dance floor. Some think they’re below deck on a sinking ship. No matter what move you bust before them, your flailing will only add to their angst, will only further convince them everyone is doomed.

So find your own space where you won’t frighten anyone and let those insatiable grooves tumble out and out and out from you.

Enjoy your solo ride while you can—it doesn’t last long. Soon others will find you and see your liberation as permission to come fully alive. You’ll end up with quite a tribe, dancing together through joys and sorrows straight towards bliss.
